2020 Online Schedule

IMPORTANT NEW INFORMATION ABOUT LINKS:
  • Links to all the concerts and to the String Band Contest will be posted here on the BOTMC website schedule page.

  • Links to the workshops will be sent with confirmation, after you register

  • Links to everything else (Black Banjo panel,Tony Thomas’ free Black Banjo workshop, jams, song swaps, hangouts and After-Parties -- that is, all events on the online meeting platform that starts with Z) will ONLY be available via email.  To get those links, sign up for the BOTMC email list(see bottom of this page where it says "Stay Updated")

 

There is a charge for the instructional workshops, but everything else is FREE!  We'll be asking for donations which will go to the musicians.

EVENING CONCERTS on Quarantine Happy Hour (Facebook) will also be streamed to YouTube. Anyone can access Quarantine Happy Hour, even if you have not joined Facebook, but you won't be able to post comments without joining Facebook.

JAMMING:  There are many jams, song swaps and hangouts scheduled.  They are included in the schedule below and are in ORANGE.  Remember, you must sign up for the BOTMC email list (at the bottom of this page where it says "Stay Updated" in order to get the  links to the jams and song swaps (and also for the after-parties and hangouts)

BLACK BANJOThere are two FREE events centering on Black Banjo: a panel discussion with Jake Blount and Tony Thomas, moderated by UC Music Dept. Prof. T. Carlis Roberts on Thurs. A.M., and an interactive lecture-demonstration by Tony Thomas on Sat. afternoon.
